PROJECT 1: RESEARCH

For our first assignment, in a group of six, we were tasked to create a topic and conduct a thorough research. Our topic was 'the Impact of British Colonialism on Malaysia's Architectural Identity'. This assignment was divided into three components:

• Part A: Topic Proposal

• Part B: Research Poster

• Part C: Presentation

Throughout the duration of this project, a lot of in-depth research and fact checking were conducted. The topic has always been something that interested us, a continuous debate about our national architectural identity – what were the factors that caused us to have this never ending debate?

PROJECT 2: CONTEXTUAL ANALYSIS

The final project requires us to conduct an investigative contextual analysis of a chosen building. I chose the Cho En Dai House by Foster + Partners.
