BUILDING CONSTRUCTION II
This module is focuses on the structural systems in a general term – solid, skeletal and surface construction, as well as analyse the forces and loads on a building's structure. This knowledge will help aid in determining the structural elements implemented in the design of a building. My tutor throughout the entirety of the module was Mr Rizal.

PROJECT 1: BUS SHELTER
For our first assignment, we were to explore forces and loads, as well as joints and skeletal construction by constructing a 1:5 bus shelter model. In a group of six, were to use recyclable materials as representation of real-life materials. I was in a group with Ng Pui Yan, Ng Lek Yuen, Sarah Esa and Melisa Faisal. Other than that, we had to create an A3-bound report containing our design process, exploration, construction details and drawings.

PROJECT 2: CONSTRUCTION MODEL
Our second assignment focuses on the topics of tensile and gridshell structures. In a group of three, we were required to conduct a case study based on the structure of our choice; gridshell or tensile, in which we were to create 2 A2 boards, a model as well as a detailed construction model. I was in a group with Melisa Faisal and Muhd Ros Syaznaim. We chose to focus on SUTD Library Pavilion as part of our study on Gridshell structures.
